how do i cartograph number 1+2 in this area
without doing an event?

You can use shadow step trip for the boardwalk part - number 2 - (take a hero, bring heart of shadows/viper's defense, exit to the courtryard, place the hero near the portal to the monastery, shadow step away from hero so to appear at the other side of the portal, go through the gates to the boardwork - they are an illusion, check shadow step project on the unofficial wiki for more details). For the other part (number 1) you just need to talk to a guy who teleports you to the arena - Bauyun (arena guard).
