Default Buy or Craft Destroyer Weapons?

Is it more cost-efficient to buy the destroyer weapons (if you don't have the onyx and diamonds) or to buy the onyx and diamonds and then craft destroyers?

Thanks

Obv buying materials, you can get the mats for ~30-40k.. When most ppl trying sell weapons for 50-80k.. Overall u see sometimes ppl selling weapons for 30-40k also tho

Uh don't know when you last looked but they generally go for 20-30k. Crafting is mroe time efficient as it's quite hard to track down the ones you need, especially seeing as most of them end up as HoM food.

If you're willing to put in a bit of time, then defiantly craft them yourself.
You can farm your own granite outside Sardelac Sanitarium by killing the Hulking Stone Eles in HM. The 100 iron needed can also easily be salvaged off weapons that drop. After that you'll only need to spend money on the Diamonds (roughly 1k/ea), Onyx (roughly 800g/ea), and of course the crafting cost for the weapon itself (5k).
I did this for my 3 destroyer weapons. Worked out well. Overall only costing me 23k per weapon(add a few K for the Superior Salvage Kits used).

Thanks for the replies!

But wait, should I use superior salvage kits instead of regular ones? And if yes, should I use them for everything that I salvage or just for these materials?

A Superior Salvage Kit is the same as an Expert Salvage Kit, it just has more uses and costs more per use when purchased from a vendor.

You want to use an expert/superior salvage kit when you want to take a magical item off of a weapon/armor (though it has a chance to break) or if you want to have a chance to salvage rare materials from the item. If you use a regular salvage kit, you will always salvage common materials only. e.g. Use an expert/superior salvage kit on a sword, you have a chance to salvage either iron or steel. Use a regular salvage kit on that same sword, and you will only salvage iron.
