Default Q's regarding Lockpicks and Texmod

I got questions i hope you guys can help me out with.

First, would a lockpick be worth using in Hard Mode (eotn fx) contra selling? I mean u get an elite tome every now and then - but on average, what would be most profitable?

Secondly, texmod - some use it others love it! But im having some issues with texmod, that i think most of us can recognise. When zoning texmod can get all screwed, is there a way to avoid that? How do you personally 'reset' ur texmod? I my self tap out of GW and then in again, untill its fixed - i know you can reset your gfx settings, but alot of times that doesnt fix it for me.

I hope someone would share their wisdom!

1) If you're doing locked chests for profit, you're going to be seriously disappointed. Sure, you may get on a good streak every once in a while, but by and large, you will lose money. Just expect it.

2) Not sure what you mean by "issues". Seeing extra textures in zones every once in a while?

Imo opening chests is only good for title, not for profit.

For the texmod issue I just minimize and maximize gw and that usually fixes it.

Hardmode for sure.

TexMod: YES! I have had this problem in the past too. Your screen gets covered in a random texture. This is a bug with TM, the best way to reset it is to minimize and maximize again.

I usually open chests in HM, but it is almost always less money than selling the lockpick. The only real benefit is title progression for chests opened, gold's id'ed, and lucky/unlucky. If you sell lockpicks to people instead of merchants you can usually find someone offering 1.2k (give or take) for each.

With texmod, as has been said, I fix the textures by minimizing/maximizing.

As for lockpicks: With low title you break them almost all the time and will suffer big losses. With max title you retain more often and will cut the losses, but never expect any fat profit on it.

There is no other solution for texmod. The program is just buggy. Only permanent solution would be to re-write the whole thing.

Also good for outfitting your Heroes since the weapons you get are maxed. (they're not going to have to worry much about the normal 10-13 attribute requirements on most of them since, unless you insist on using the exact same Heroes every time and thus tend to change builds rather than swap Heroes)
