Default How much Bandwidth does GW use?

So starting May 2 I believe, AT&T DSL will impose a bandwidth cap of 150GB/month or 250GB/month on their cable. That means I will have to watch my bandwidth max more often. If you have the Gw.dat file fully downloaded and you play the game for 1 hour, approximately how much KB/MB/GB do you use?

Thanks!

Just playing, no updates or background downloads, you could probably leave it running constantly and never hit 150GB/month.

Used to play GW easily with a 10g cap. Usage is negligible (eg. maybe a 100mbs in a day)

GW does not take up that much at all. I havent actually monitored how much exactly though.

My internet service gives me a daily allowance of 375 MBs, I can play GW all day and not even drain 20%. That is just a rough estimate. It's probably even less.

I run netlimiter, it shows me how much something uses:

GW, this month, highest was 50MB on one day.
Since March 1 it has used 487MB but keep in mind I left it on a lot and I played a lot too. More than normal because I had semi-vacation.

I'd say that normal use like normal people use it, won't put you over 500mb per month.
The average I get per day is around 15-20MB so you'll probably have less than that.

500mb monthly, 15-20 daily from a powergamer with too much time on his hands.

I've just did testing this week.

First off, let me explain:

I live from monday to thursday in another town (college), then from thursday evening to monday morning I'm at my home.

Since at other town I use USB internet where I have 5gb month cap (getting wireless card soon, then will have unlimited), I had to check how much does Guild Wars takes.

1. I transferred from my old PC to new PC whoole guild wars directory so I didn't need to download anything.

In 1 hour my GW downloads aproxx 4,5-8,0 mb (never really seen it goes more then 6mb, but oh well).

Mostly I spend my time in Kamadan (decided to sell some things), and in areas VQ/mapping

Hope that helped.

No way, only if you are downloading content.

It's better to make on normal connection somewhere -image, so then it will downloads everything, and then you won't have over 8mb per hour.
