Default Quick Graphics question

hey there.

I've been ahving this problem with Guild wars because of the text damadge. I've preety much pinned my huge amounts of lag because of all the numbers flying around on my screen causing me to lag horribly. I have the damage down to its lowest, but when i do things such as vaettir farming the numbers compltly destroy me and make me lag horribly(thus making vaettir farming hard and pointless)

So i ask, is there anyway i can completly remove the damadge numbers? What i mean by that is all the 0's and +2 i get from getting hit by enemies. I looked on wiki for a UI mod that might fix it but didnt find anything.

If anyone could help me with this it would be very helpful.

I can't really see how the numbers can make you lag, unless you have an ancient video card or a very high anti-aliasing setting.

Dzjudz is referring to an old test somebody ran using dual visages. The resulting explosion of numbers was enough to crash any machine at the time, so yes - numbers can lag!

No way that I know of to stop the numbers. Have you tried lowering your video settings?

Maybe you could texmod them out?

Or the other solution is to run degen builds instead of damage build I guess...

umm its not really old... it says on my monitor that it is an HP w1907.

and really i used to Vaetitr farm fine till we got embark beach and all that but now its just not possible.

and i have no idea how textmod works. i tried making my blindfold red before.. i ended up turning it some shiney pink color that was unwearable and looked horrible.

so yea im not sure. Also its more them hurting me thats causing me to lag not so much me using skills.

Just a note, HP W1907 is just the type of monitor, it has nothing to do with your computer specs (other than give it a native resolution of 1440x900, which is quite low these days).

If you farmed Vaettir on the same computer perfectly fine before but now you can't, it has probably to do with something you installed (maybe unknowingly, leeching programs like spyware or malware).

i dont think ive really installed anything on my computer. I still sue norton(which i have had for forever) and i really only use this computer to play GW/look at guru and keep my music on. Other then that this computer is preety neglected. Only thing ive installed recently was the Paw-ned2 thing and that was yesterday, so i dont think thats the cause.

anyway i can make the computer spit out the specs to me so it can help you guys? I have no idea what to do to make that happen(if its possible). and thanks for helping me Dzjudz.

Well if you have Windows Vista or Windows 7 you can easily check your basic computer specs in the Windows Experience Index (located in the Control Panel under System and Maintenance). In the Windows Experience Index screen there is an option to View and print detailed performance and system information.

That should show you your processor type, amount of RAM, video card, etc.

No wonder that's you are having problems with it, that's ancient stuff you got there (the technology is from around 2005).

You main problem though is that the 6150SE video-card that you have is really really bad, it's an integrated solution with very little dedicated ram.
