long story short i purchased this armor when original GW came out and was extremely disappointing when i found out you can't dye the tatoo. Anyways I would like to atleast use the armor for achievement points which so far i only have elite luxon necromancer armor on display. But for some odd reason i cant seem to put my 15k tatoo armor? any reason for this? By the way if i put 15k any armor does it count for all characters in account?

More over A side question on achievements, if i have a ranger alternate character and i put my pets on display do i get achievement or it has to be per character?

finally what about the heroes it says i can't display they also need 15k armor to display @.@?

Re: the scar armor, do you have all four pieces, (chest, hands, legs, feet,) are you sure it's the elite armor, not just the normal one, and are wearing them all when you approach the monument?

Hall of Monuments is account wide, when you dedicate items on ANY character it adds that item to the HoM for EVERY character.

Heroes don't need 15k armor - they need an armor upgrade - which you do so by gaining an armor remnant, and then speaking to an NPC who upgrades their armor for you. You get armor remnants from completing challenge missions, (and some harder challenges for the best looking remnants.)

*Have you got all pieces other than the headpiece? You can't be missing parts (again, except the headpiece)to put it in the HoM.
*Try setting the HoM to personal view if it isn't already.
*Make sure you're got a tapestry for that monument.
*Have you ever put any other armor in with any other characters? Elite Scar Pattern is classified as 'Marhan's Grotto Ascended Armor', so if you've added a set already it might have been classified as the same in terms of the HoM.
*Are you sure it's elite? Non-elite armor cannot be added.

The HoM is account wide. There is no difference between getting everything on one character and getting a few things each across your various characters. You'll want to do certain titles on the same character though, like Cartographer, Guardian, and Vanquisher, because they award a 'legendary' title for having them all on the same character.

You need to upgrade their armor.

And make sure that when you are in the HoM that it is on "Character View" (this can be altered during your visit to your HoM by talking to Kimmes the Historian).

When in Character View, make sure that there is a tapestry in the monument that you want to add something to (so for armor you need to have a tapestry in the monument of "Resilience" on that character).

From what I see, it seems you only bought a piece of armor, not a full set. As well, the Elite Scar Pattern armor is the only ORIGINAL armor that costs 8k, not 15k. The other sets cost 15k a piece, not the whole set. Same with the Elite Scar Pattern (8k a piece).

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Necro..._Pattern_armor (This is the only Elite "Tattoo" armor for Necromancers. The other "Tattoo" armor is non-elite, so you can't put it in the Hall of Monuments.)

So I'm guessing you only bought one piece of a different type of Elite armor, or you just got the prices confused. You need a full set (excluding the head piece) to be able to put it into your Hall of Monuments. Meaning, four pieces (chest, gloves, legs, and boots).

Everyone else pretty much summed it up for you. If you have a full set (which would be 32k plus whatever mats if you are talking about Elite Scar Pattern), then you can put it in the Hall of Monuments. As well, go to Character View and see if you have a Tapestry on your Armor Monument for that specific character. If not, you can't put any armor up there till you get a Tapestry.

thank you guys for all the information i appreciate it a lot. I am a idiot i did not realize the achievement monument was account and character. I did not have a armor tapestry on my necromancer apparently.
