Default Stumped on what to do next

Greetings!

About 2 week ago, I came back from a ~5 year break from Guild Wars (I left about the time Greens were added). I've grown somewhat blah with MMO'ing (Waiting for GW2!) and GW was something I could play casually and not have to worry about being on for hours a night every day (in WoW, if it wasnt a raid night, it was crafting and reselling thousands gems/inscripts and running alts for gear).

I logged on and found my friends list pretty much has all quit, nobody in my guild has logged on for ~3 years and I'm a little lost when it comes to having 3 expansions of content and 5 years worth of catching up to do, especially when I dont have whispers coming in to do UW/FoW farming when I log on.

I used to play Monk, and would spend a lot of time running THK+ with people, or doing FoW/UW, because quality healers werent exactly common for pugs. Since coming back, I leveled a dervish and did the 3 campaigns with him (I need to do the last couple Nightfall missions, I got to torment for skills then went and did the other two).

Outside farming the 50 thingies for GW2 (I've read a few threads on doing that), is there a plan of action I should stick to when it comes to EotN / Faction / ect? As in, its not worth it to farm 80k Kurzik for AoHM when I could be doing EotN stuff for cool looking armor / skills / ect?

Or, if anyone needs a monk/dervish to healbot / hit stuff (AoD builds are a little wonky, but its kind of fun for some missions) who will joke around in party chat, I much prefer Missions and Quests and the like over running around with 1-7 hero's farming faction thingies (and I'll get my monk finished with these campaigns at some point, though Monking is significantly less fun than I remember it being!).

I would recommend you start by finishing the storylines. That will unlock map travel outposts, allow you access to skill trainers, unlock your heroes and generally allow you to get to your full potential. (don't forget to grab the appropriate storybooks first) And, well, it's playing the game as intended.

During that time, finding an active guild would probably be nice.

Then, if your interest hasn't waned, go for the profitable content opr titles. EotN dungeons, elite areas and similar.

Things that are probably worth your time:
Leveling up Lightbringer title for Domain of Anguish adventuring

EotN title leveling. As a derv, the norn and dwarf titles have things that you might like. Everyone likes Ebon Vanguard Assasin.

You can get 500k Kurzick/Luxon faction faction on a single double points weekend, so don't sweat that.

If you just want to maximize your chances of playing with real people, just go on gwpvx and make sure you have elites for the meta builds and add to your friends list and get an active guild.
