Question Best Time to find team for Hell's Precipice?

I havent played guildwars in like 3years and im a Protector of Tyria, so when i went on today i figured i might be able to get a free Deldrimor sword, but then i realized that I have to beat Hell's Precipice again to get the sword.
Then...I went to Hell's Precipice and realized there's no one there at all.
I only have the Prophecies campaign, so heroes aren't an option.
What times do people tend to do co-op missions and Hell's precipice in particular?

When it happens to be the Zaishen quest, otherwise you're unlikely to find anyone there I'm afraid.

Join a guild or ask someone on the forum to help, you only need 1 person seeing as how anyone with access to heroes can fill the party up with them now.

Yeah, sadly the days are over when you would see decent numbers in outposts. Roll on GW2

Agreeing with everyone else here; there really isn't a time. With the 7 Hero update and Mercenary heroes (by the way who are awesome) there aren't many people in outposts looking for missions. With all of the updated skills and recent buffs to mesmers and dervishes it's pretty easy to roll a mission now in NM. You will find everyone who is doing missions doing the Wanted quests, Zaishen combat, bounty, vanquish, mission, Winds of Change or Nicholas.

Sadly there aren't many people who do this stuff anymore

Well, I don't know if since the introduction of heroes, the Prophecies campaign missions were tweaked in some way, but I guess they weren't, so remember they were meant to be done including with the option to use 7 henchies. And guess what, it works. I did the mission, including bonus, using 7 henchies only. And the bonus (which you don't really need now) is even harder to do than the mission itself. So grab some henchies and try it out. It's not that hard. Last resort, pay a runner to do it for you. For it, you can reply to a post here.

Good luck.

You'll find people doing HP when it's the Zaishen quest. Unfortunately, it's not scheduled until Sept.14. If you wait until then, you'll also find that nearly everyone will want to do it in Hard Mode. Don't let that stop you.

Other than that, HP isn't too too hard in Normal Mode with just Henchmen, but it's not easy either. Just remember the basics - careful pulling and proper targeting.

You could try arranging a group through the forums - although I'm not sure what forum(s) you'd use.

Yep, I'm a pretty new player and finished Prophecies not that long ago. Those were the two things that turned my first couple of failed Hell's Precipice attempts into a successful one.

Careful pulling, especially in the area where the portals and portal wraiths are. Don't be charging in to attack anyone, set a flag and pull mobs back to your heroes. And don't hesitate to run away and regroup if you get two groups at once.

And proper targeting - you must kill the Sparks first, they do heavy damage, and you need to know how the other titans come back to life in different forms. Killing the Ashen Hulks willy-nilly will get you swarmed by Hands and Fists, for instance.

Anyway there's lots of good advice on the wiki page.

So, no one mentioned trying to find a PuG at Embark Beach yet?
The Beach is a new outpost in the Battle Isles, worth checking, especially american districts, instead of the mission's outpost.

I did hell's a couple of times with some of my chars last week. During the day(Euro time) on the American servers and there were always people grouping. Even if you are a Euro like I am switch to AE server and get a group.

Embark beach is a good idea, but unfortunately, too little, too late. If it had been there at the beginning, it would have become the meeting place that was intended. But, I've never noticed anyone actually trying to form groups there. People come, get their Zaishen quest/mission/vanq and then leave to go to the relevant outpost to form a group.
