Default Survivor Title - high damage bosses

I'm halfway done my survivor title and almost died after beating Shiro Tagachi on HM. For future reference, are there any bosses or missions in this game that can do obscene amounts of damage and ruin my survivor title?

(Throughout all campaigns and missions, assuming hard mode)

edit: I have no problem with regular mobs and bosses since I have bonders on my team, but Shiro literally one-shot 2 of my heroes and almost killed me. I've played through all of Factions and half of Nightfall on hard mode and this is the first time I've come close to dying. That's the kind of damage I'm worried about.

Well, yes. Tons. In fact, pretty much anything if you're not careful. Some Ele/Rit (and some others) bosses can easily wipe off 3/4 of your health bar in one hit. The trick is working to negate that damage. Upgrade your armor appropriately. Make sure you have prots somewhere on your team and make sure they're up when they need to be (i.e, if you're playing melee, you'll usually want prot spirit on you when you aggro). Don't be careless with aggroing - pull individual mobs with a longbow and watch out for patrols if you need to. Flag your heroes when needed.

PS: If you really want survivor, you're better off specifically farming XP. Doing it like this is going to be very long, tedious, and frustrating.

As posted above, some rit and ele bosses pack a hard punch. I suggest flagging you party when you see a red aura and preprot yourself. If you have done HM on another character, you probably know most places where you better watch out (e.g that burned forest in the southern charr territory, whatever the name of the area is, can cause you to wipe if you are running in there without watching your aggro).
If there is something like Shiro that I am not certain about, I just do the mission on another character first and see what the possible dangers are, then do it on my survivor (I do doppleganger with another toon first too, with the same skills that I plan to use on my survivor).
As for farming xp instead of playing the game, I support your way of doing it. Grab the zaishen mission/bounty/vanquish too, the quest rewards of those add up nicely too to speed things up while you finish HM. And don't forget your scrolls
I wish you good luck

One thing to remember is bosses deal double damage - and in hm that can mean big trouble as a boss with aoe can easily wipe 1/2 to 3/4 of your team if you are unprepared.
Also they attack a lot faster - which on some professions can be taken advantage of via their spells/skills.

Maybe you should buy some XP scrolls and do Kilroy dungeon. Its safer and you exp relatively fast.

Blah blah farm Kilroy blah blah...clerly he doesn't want to farm his title and wants to do it properly.

Anyway, as said previously, ele and rit bosses can really hit hard and wipe your party in 1 hit but one thing that comes to mind is Gate of Madness, the NF one with Shiro and the Lich. As you know, Shiro hits hard and the Lich does too. If I'm not mistaken his attacks hurt a lot AND remove enchants. So be careful there.

Good luck anyway on your title

Like it was said eles and rit bosses can wipe your party in 1 or 2 spells.
What i used mostly against them was PI. Any boss that has aoe dies in the 1st few seconds if he targets your party. Coupled with any party support (Bonding or ST/Shelter), you can bring any of them down without them hurting too much.
If the boss just has high damage spike (like the terrorweb bosses from gate of pain if i'm not mistaken about the mission), you can just PS yourself flag heroes and agro them. After the initial spike you should be safe and kill anything before you're in danger again.

The most difficult areas that i found
-Sacnoth valley - burning forest area - a lot of aoe and mobs to get trampled over with a tiny mistake

-Realm of torment - not watching meteor showers or those tentacle thingies (coupled with a pain in the @55 environment)
--Shiro is especially dangerous in gate of madness. If you're a caster keep your distance. let the team keep the agro while you just harass from a safe place. After killing him the lich is no push-over (mostly single target high damage attack, and life vortex but are easily handled) so you can just go for master's and keep you survivor without much trouble

-Hidden City Ahdashim - Careful with the boss pulling in the end. The dervish and ele if pulled together can rape your whole party in seconds.

That's all i remember, hoped it jogged your memory for any further troubles.

I recently did Legendary Survivor by capping skills. Fast, safe and you combine 2 titles in one - great way to do it

I also achieved Legendary Survivor when I was skill capping. I just capped all the skills on NM and had no danger on being wiped out by a boss. I finished the title off the weekend it was double XP for skill caps. That's 10,000 XP a pop!
