Default elite armor salvage

I think I read somewhere that once you have a statue in HoM you cant lose it. so that would mean I can salvage my elite armor after I hav my statues?
thanks in advance

Once an item has been recorded in the HoM, it's there for good. So yes, if you salvage it, you won't lose it in the HoM.

Keep in mind though that you won't get back more than a small fraction of the materials you put into crafting it. However, if you don't mind that, salvage away, the statue from your HoM won't disappear.

You pay 60k and (in some cases) rare materials for the armors. Are those 50 piles of dust, bolts of clothes or iron ingots worth it?

50 dust is certainly worth more then the inconvenience of not having a storage slot due to an unused piece of armor clogging it up.

if you can afford to get it again then salvage it. but be sure you really dont want it first. i used to keep my elite armors but over time my space got filled up. now i keep only the parts i want and salvage rest. but put it in the home first before salvaging too xD

I assume this depends on how many toons you have. I use at least 2 armor sets on each toon (4 sets on main rit) which is more than enough to fill the monument.

Yup, salvage away. I recently made a warrior to get the silver eagle armor into my hall of monuments, then I deleted him afterwards. The statue is still there.
