anyone know why rune traders aren't buying minor vigor runes?

They are. You have one from the quest "The missing shipment". That one is not sellable to the trader.

The reason is that it would be to easy to just make a char>do the quest>sell Rune

THOUGH if we had so many of them, the price would lower, meaning not alot gold earned from the farm..

On the other hand we would end up with the price for minor vigor runes being very cheap, which is something that Anet obviously doesn't want to happen - we need to spend our money somewhere.
