Can't log in to my new trial account - Guild Wars Forums

Hello everybody!

So basically I just signed up for the 14-day trial. And for the life of me I can not log in to Guild Wars. Account name, password, and security question are (as far as I know) all 100% correct. However, I can not get in. So please help me out here...

Account:
Let's say my account name is John (obviously it's not) so do I type in John? Or [email protected]? [email protected]? Or is it my real e-mail address?

Password:
This I know I've got 100% correct. I even went ahead and changed my password to make sure, and I can log in to the NCsoft website without issues.

Security Question:
So this asks me for a name of a character on my account. As I said, this is a new account, and per their instructions I've been leaving this field blank (as I don't have any characters yet).

Please help. Thank you for your time.

The account name = the email address you used to sign up for the account.

When I created my account, something went bonkers and my "full" account name (i.e. email address) ended up being myusername@plaync

If you're still having problems, try that.

Similarly to xxfah, when I signed up, my login name somehow became myusername@ncsoft

No trailing ".com" and not at all related to my email address.

Passwords are case sensitive, obviously.
