Default Hall of Monuments help

Hi all, i've not been to these forums in a VERY long time. I used to play way back when guild wars came out and i stopped shortly after EOTN. I've been waiting for guild wars 2 and i've decided i'm finally going to go and get some more things for my hall of monuments.

There is the link to my hall, i was wondering where should i start exactly? It's been so long that i've forgot quite alot about the game lol, i'm honerstly lost on where to start. Any help would be great, thanks in advance!

Well assuming you have a few minipets or unopened birthday presents start there.
Add your heroes next
Animal companions are another easy source of points.
Elite armours if you have the cash.

After that its probably a bit of a grind, upgraded hero armours.
Destroyer weapons and the like.
Then titles.

Its pretty easy to add a few points to each area of the hom but once you have added the easy ones its down to achieving breakpoint numbers.
ie 1 hero = 1 point
1 rare animal companion counts as 2 points 1 for any pet 1 for rare and so on.
After the first few additions to each area of the hom you have to work at it 1 point for 5 companions then another for 10 then 20 then 30 so as you progress its harder to get the next point.

30 points is pretty easy 50 needs some work

Good thing is that you already got one of the most expensive armors, you can get the Kurzick/Luxon and some other for some extra points.

Also this guide has some very good ideas:

I would advise adding the Black Moa to your Fellowship, as you have completed Cantha that should be easy and cheap enough. Next, vanquish Cantha (which should bring in around 200K) use the money and materials gained from that to by armor and a Destroyer weapon or two. Sorrow's Furnace can provide another title and it is easy to accomplish. Start vanquishing other areas, or Luxon/Kurz areas as you need money and or faction points to convert to Amber/Jade for that elite armor.

Remember to salvage what you can to aquire the materials you will need for the various armors.

If you do Sorrow's Furnace, make sure that you beat Zho in the Norn fighting tournament in EOTN first and get the Black Moa Chick quest, and complete that up to the last step first. That way you get the statue for SF and the Black Moa Chick mini, which is a unique mini and worth a separate point.

Black Moa pet is easy to get; also add MOX to your Hall.

As far as titles go - go for Protector for each continent. Vanquishing is relatively easy, if not time-consuming, but it will earn you a nice chunk of change, not to mention help you with other titles - vanquishing Cantha will get you a nice way towards r4 Kurzick/Luxon, and vanquishing Elona will likely get you max Sunspear and if not max Lightbringer, very close to it.

As you do missions, vanquishes, etc, get the z-quests (see Great Temple and Embark Beach) for extra rewards and z-coins that you can either sell or use for stuff, like storage bags.

Buying an oppressor or destroyer weapon will give you another 2 points. Same goes for the moa chick that's also 2 points. 86k is not enough to get them both unless you get the weapon yourself.

How many points in the HOM are you aiming for?
