From the wiki:

Any animal companion will grant the generic "Animal Companion" statue. The "rare" pets — Imperial Phoenix, Black Widow, and Black Moa — each have individual statues.

(You can only have one of each statue per character, and only one of each statue on your account will count towards your HoM calculator.)

You can take in a level 20 pet of any sort and get the "Animal Companion" statue.
Other than that, only one statue of the rare pets (black widow, black moa and phoenix).

It's like taking in a mini that you already have and trying to dedicate another one.
