Question about mini pets - Guild Wars Forums

Hi

So a few years ago my account got hacked and I lost everything. I tried to play GW1 again last year but just didn't have it in me. Now after seeing the black widow pet in GW2, I decided to try and come back and just work for 30 HM points.

My husband has a GW1 account he no longer uses and has a bunch of b-day presents. He hasn't touched the account in like 6 years. He is willing to give them up for me. He doesn't want to play GW2, but I would feel bad for taking his pets to get points. I'm not sure how the system works, but can I borrow them and apply the points then give the pets back?

Sorry I'm not really familiar with how things are applied to HOM. I tried googling for an answer and nothing came up.

You can give them back to him. Only one of you can dedicate it in the HoM though.

Yes you can borrow them, dedicate them at your Hall of Monuments, then give them back to him. He just won't be able to dedicate them anymore and if he tries sellign them they will be greatly de-valued.
