Default HoM question

Been playing GW2 since launch and haven't touched GW1 since but I'd like to go back and try my hand at the rest of my HoM. Have A L O T to do but was just simply wondering if most if not all of HoM can be completed with heroes/henchmen for a party rather than players seeing as it's probably almost a ghost town in GW1 other than people doing Nicholas.

i'd say "join a nice and active guild" but if alone, its most likely possible since we have 7 hero party, so we can build our own team
i heard you cant do the deep, urgoz and UW on your own (also heard a few people say they did.... dunno)

Everything in PvE, with no exceptions whatsoever, can be completed with heroes in hard mode (and without consumables). Granted, there are a couple of things that are immensely difficult, but they're not essential for HoM purposes. For example, elite missions don't need to be done in Hard Mode, and some of them are part of quest chains that are irrelevant to the HoM.

Really though, the HoM boils down to cash. If you have enough you can probably just about buy 50/50, though that's really money inefficient. Once you get through the Hard Mode stuff (missions/vanquishing) you'll have stockpiled some cash, and you'll have obtained things like minipets/armors/hero armors/etc already. 50/50 is not out of reach for anyone, and won't be anytime soon.

speaking of being able to get everything, you dont need to pvp to get the pvp HoM points, just get zaishen keys and open the chest

and marty, i doubt they will EVER change it, as removing obtainable stuff has been doing bad to em before, and they surely cant use that these days

also, they made zaishen coins tradeable.... so i bet they wanted people to be able to trade for more stuff

so yea, its most likely possible, as i've heard

I never said anything about Anet making changes. I was referring to things that may become harder as a result of the lowering population. Supply for certain things will probably drop as time goes by. For example, getting 50 minipets isn't really viable for someone starting today without getting any from others. Of course, there are probably enough minipets around now to last an eternity, but zkey prices are rising, as are ectos and shards. Still not impossible by any means, but that much harder for the casual player. Anet did recently change FoW/UW access to not require favour, which is a good example of them being aware of such things.

Actually he's right, but it takes time as well. A LOT of time. Time which most people don't have if they actually have something worthwhile to be doing, like family or working. Or both, like me.
I think I managed to grind to 39/50 and had to stop as I had no more time to complete it.
